Courtney Acomb graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2007 earning her BFA in dance.  She has participated in Doug Varone summer intensives at SUNY Purchase in 2006, and performed and assisted in a lecture/demonstration at the East Central Region American College Dance Festival (ACDF) at Ohio University in 2007.  She traveled to Durham NC for the American Dance Festival (ADF) to perform with former Trisha Brown company member Mariah Maloney, and has also performed with David Dorfman Dance in his piece Underground in September 2007.  Her dance focus relies primarily in release technique and partnering.  Courtney currently dances with UNASOMA Dance Co. in Ithaca, NY and is interested in combining her massage therapist license with dance science.
